The Visionary Art Of Margaret A. Daley

About Margaret

Margaret DaleyMargaret was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended the Cincinnati Art Academy where she studied fine art focusing on drawing and painting. She moved to San Francisco, California in 1977 and studied with the Vermeer of California visionary artist, Clayton Anderson.  She was also greatly influenced by her longtime friend Nick Hyde, another leading California visionary artist who by the consensus of his colleagues in this unique genre has no equal. He has provided guidance in technique, composition and constructive criticism for more than thirty years.

The imagery in Margaret's paintings have always been dream inspired. The mind-expanding opportunities of the 1970's and 1980's, especially in San Francisco, were transformational, and her imagery became more organic and interconnected in nature and the spiritual world, and there it remains.

Margaret's art is available at the Surrealsight Gallery.
